What happens when I don’t pay my rent on time?
Rent payments are due on the 1st of each month. On the 4th of the month, rent is late and late fees are added to your account. The late fee on the 4th is $50, then $5 per day until paid, or eviction is completed.
Is Bay Breeze Apartment Homes income-based?
We are not income-based per tax credit communities and do not accept rent vouchers. We require that your gross income is 3 times the amount of the monthly rent as part of our qualification guidelines.
Where is the exact location of Bay Breeze Apartment Homes?
We are located at 29150 Lake Forest Blvd, Daphne, AL 36526. We are tucked away on the southwest side of Lake Forest. From Highway 98, you will turn onto Van Buren, then left at N. Main St, right at D’Olive Dr., then left at Lake Forest Blvd. Continue on Lake Forest Blvd and you will dead-end into the Bay Breeze community.
Yes, as a matter of fact, we encourage it! Once you have applied for an apartment, you will be assigned a username and password to set up your online payment account. As long as you pay using your checking account, you will not incur any additional fees. This is also the most secure way to pay your rent.
Are the amenities open 24/7?
All amenities are open 24/7 except the swimming pool and pavilion, which close at 10 p.m.
What is my security deposit for?
It is to hold the apartment in which you have applied for. Once you have moved in, it is then held for any damages and cleaning charges that may be incurred during your occupancy.
How do I get my security deposit back?
If there is any remaining deposit once you have vacated and the appropriate charges have been deducted, the balance will be returned to you. Please note, you must provide a forwarding address at the time you vacate, in order to receive the remainder of your deposit in a timely manner.
Are any utilities already included?
We provide garbage pick-up, as well as pest control services. You must apply and pay for all other utilities, which includes electric, water/sewer, cable television and internet.
Yes, we allow 2 pets max per apartment. Dogs must be at least 1 year of age to be approved, and we do have specific breed restrictions. Our required one-time pet fee is $400 (non-refundable) plus $15 per month, per pet.
Can I make interior update? (painting, mounting shelves, etc.)
All upgrades must be approved by management in advance.
What repairs am I responsible for if any are needed?
We ask that you submit all repair requests through the office. That’s one of the best things about living in our community, is you are not responsible for repairs! We are just a phone call away! You may also submit service requests online through the resident portal any time of day or night!
